Our story begins on …

April 15th of 2011 as our hero, a young
and energetic lad, reluctantly returns
to his native home in Washington DC from
a land far far away.

Not long after settling in he routinely
checks his mailbox and that’s where he
sees it for the first time.

His heart almost stops dead.

He feels all the blood rushing from his
head as the room begins to spin.

Before nature can take over he swiftly
moves to his couch and sits.

The only thought going through his head
…

“This can’t be.”

“I’ve done nothing wrong.”

“Why me?”

In his hand, he holds a letter from none
other than the most diabolical force in
the universe.

How had THEY found him?

Why had THEY targeted him?

He’d done nothing wrong.

As he looked down at letter from the
IRS, it read …

“Congratulations Mr. Smith! We’ve chosen
you to send us an extra $600,000. Please
send us a check my next Tuesday or
else.”

The epic battle begins.

It’s young Mr. Smith vs. the biggest
gangsters the world has ever known.

Not a fair fight for sure …

Realizing this …

The quick witted Mr. Smith decides to
even the odds.

He calls his money Merlin Jay.

Jay says …

“Clearly they’re trying to bully you. We
need to meet in person immediately. Fax
me what they sent you and meet me
tomorrow.”

The next day …

The young lad assigns his new wizard the
right to represent him in the epic
battle to come, but before the meeting
adjourns the money wizard Jay mentions
…

“You’ve got a LOT of work ahead of you.
You’ll need to enlist aid that you can
trust.”

The young lad thinks “Hmm …”

“I think she’s up for the task …”

The next day he had another warrior, a
new guardian, enlisted for the epic
brawl to come.

Over the next two months, and many back
and forth battles with his nemesis,
Adrianne proves to be his greatest
asset.

She forges all of the weapons and
shielding for the money wizard Jay to do
battle with the beast, And …

Each battle Jay returns alive and
optimistic.

Ready to fight another day.

Now …

Both sides are at stand still.

Our nemesis, the omnipresent,
oppressive, and always watching, IRS has
called out the battle ground.

The date: October 18th.

The terms: $180k in cancelled checks and
receipts.

Right now, as you read this, make no
mistake …

Our young hero, and his warriors
continue, the final $180 scavenger hunt.

Optimistic, fearless, and ready for …

The final showdown.

Will the young lad Mr. Smith slay the
behemoth?

Only time will tell, but our young hero
has been known to slay a few dragons in

Internet Safety and Safe Eyes video turns pork into porn

I just watched an amuzing video for Internet Safety that hits close to home now that I have kids in the habit of getting online.

As many searches end up being for something totally inappropriate, having the proper firewalls and blocks set up for your unexpecting youth are a necessity. For example, I was having a conversation with my Dad the other day and he mistakenly (or ignorantly!) called youtube, “itube”!

We all had a laugh at his expense, but when I tried to type this in I found a site that someone had owned but was only in the parked state, meaning there were related google ads filling the page. This was not a big deal or course, so I decided to type in “mytube.com” and got the shocker of a lifetime when a porn site showed up.

So here is your disclaimer: Don’t put that site (mytube.com) into your browser unless you are of age and willing to view objects which some consider to be inappropriate.

As the google search engines seem to speed things up for you and auto fill your searches, this is where the person not paying attention and clicking away at the first thing that pops up might experience the shock of their lifes. It is up to you to make sure they are protected against this by following the appropriate procedures such that Safe Eyes follows.

How to Leverage Your Time With an Autoresponder

As I sit here and type this article, I could be instead typing a message into my autoresponder series. If you do not know what an autoresponder is, these are the automatic emails you have generated when someone signs up for your email list or through your opt-in form.

As I type, I am spending some crucial time in what could be better used. Now think about if you needed to write a message over and over and over again when new people continue to sign up for your list. You would have to log into an account, find the file with the message on it, copy and paste it into a form and email it to a new person. Then you could do it again later in the day or perhaps multiple times a day if your website is pulling some good traffic.

This is where leverage comes from. When you can put in effort one time and have it work by itself with minimal effort on your part, you are using leverage. Imagine just focusing on multiple ways of getting people to your website and not doing busy work. Imagine seeing the same message over and over and over again and going nuts not know if you sent it to everyone. In the long run, this makes life complicated.

If you had a series of messages or training emails you wanted to send out this would make you pull your hair out as you could be sending someone the 1st day message, while others are getting the 2nd, 3rd or successive messages. You would lose track of who got what on which day. You need to make things easier for you.

Having an autoresponder helps this issue as you type your email message series one time and determine how often you want to messages to go out. You can send them everyday, every other day or any way that meets the needs of your business. Suppose you have a new course where you promised new customers a weekly newsletter, you want to make sure that they get their letter every week and not 8 or 10 days later. Setting this up ahead of time will save a large headache down the road.

Most autoresponders will also allow you to send instant messages, called a blast, where you can send a quick message to everyone who belongs to your list. Whether the person on your list has been on for 3 minutes or 3 years, they will get the message. If you have a new announcement for a product, bonus, update, this feature makes autoresponders a necessity.

If you do belong to a list currently, you know that online marketers use this all the time to promote theirs and others courses. The question is why are you waiting to get yours going? isn’t it time for you to have a piece of the pie?
